When the main road get placed on the bay, in front of the boathousese it become difficult to be able to pull boats up to land where they formerly did.
Then this large boathouse was set up by the local multiplcy so that many had the opportunity to pull up boats that do not become able to use the other oportunity, the low bridge under the national highway.
After some time, community boathouse where a natural gathering place for many.
